Ducted Propellers
Nozzles can be an incredibly valuable partner for a propeller. When used appropriately, these non-moving devices can supplement a propeller’s thrust for some applications – but not all. How can a non-moving device generate thrust? And what nozzle type is best for our application? This course will introduce the hydrodynamics of propeller nozzles and the implications of different nozzle styles.
