Pushboats are the industrial workers of commerce, moving barges from place-to-place on rivers across the globe. And we appreciate their tireless transport of goods and cargo now more than ever. But what makes a pushboat different from a merchant ship or motor yacht? How do we use our propulsion design tools to ensure we give them the right propellers? This certificate course will review some of the important characteristics of pushboat propellers, and illustrate how HydroComp’s propulsion design tools can be used for this application.
