Sea trials are how we document and validate that a vessel conforms to its expected performance. But we can also extract knowledge from a sea trial for design purposes. Do you focus on a particular vessel type or style? Would it be useful to identify specific hull performance characteristics for future projects? This certificate course will review different ways to utilize and validate historical trial data for prediction of performance during new design.
